About

CA Stay is a small Cambridge company. We rent short-stay flats in Cambridge and Peterborough, and we let you book them direct, on our own site.

What we do

We manage fourteen flats. Most are within fifteen minutes’ walk of King’s Parade. A few are further out, in quieter neighbourhoods at the edge of the city, where you trade a slightly longer walk for more space. One is in central Peterborough.

Each property has its own page on this site, with current photos, real availability, and a clear price. The same flats are also listed on Airbnb and Booking.com, because that’s where most guests start looking. You can always book here too, usually for a slightly better total, because we don’t pay anyone a 15-percent commission.

Why book direct

  • The price you see is the price you pay. No resort fees, no surprise service charges at checkout.
  • Confirmation is immediate. You pay, you see the booking on screen, and you get an email with the address and check-in details.
  • Questions go to the owner, not a chatbot. We usually reply the same day.
  • The money stays local. What would have gone to a platform stays in Cambridge.

The flats

Each flat is furnished and looked after by someone who lives nearby. We aim for the things you actually use: a decent kettle, sharp knives, a hot shower, a reading lamp by the bed.

Photos on each listing are recent. If something is wrong when you arrive, tell us and we’ll fix it before the next guest checks in.

The city

Cambridge is worth staying a few nights longer than you planned. The colleges open up in the afternoons during term, and most of the day out of term. The river is quietest before the punts start in the morning. Our Cambridge guide is a starter list of the better-known things to see: museums, outdoors, theatre, the markets. We add to it as we go.

If you’d like a tip on a bakery, a quiet punting route, or a bookshop you didn’t know about, just ask.
